Saag chicken.

Saag chicken.
Ingredients:
·         Chicken – 1 kg.
·         Chopped   onion – 2 medium sized.
·         Ginger paste – 2 tsp.
·         Garlic paste – 3 tsp.
·         Coriander powder -  1 ½ tsp.
·         Cumin powder -  1 ½ tsp.
·         Red chilli powder  - ½ tsp.
·         Green  chilli paste -  ½ tsp.
·         Chopped  tomato  -  1 medium size.
·         Salt  -  3  to  4 gms.
·         Sugar  - 3 tsp.
·         Spinach  -  250  gms.
·         Oil  -  4  tbsp.
·         Grounded garam masala  -  2 tsp.
·         Vanaspati  -  2 tsp.
Method:
Mix the chicken with ginger paste, garlic paste ,coriander powder,cumin powder,red chilli  powder&green chilli paste in a bowl.   Keep it refrigerated for one hour.  Now heat the oil in a pan.  Fry the sliced onion till golden brown .  Now add the marinated chicken ,chopped tomato,salt & sugar.  Stir it thoroughly. Keep it covered & cook it in a   low    flame.
Now boil the spinach.  Then make it a paste by mixer & keep aside.
Heat the vanaspati & fenugreek seeds in it.  Now add the spinach & stir it till the oil comes out.  Then add the cooked chicken in the spinach.  Stir it,now sprinkle the garam masala powder.  Garnish with butter & serve hot .
